AI Employees
AI Employees is a guided builder that creates fully configured sales agents with workflow automation. Instead of configuring each component manually, the wizard walks you through the entire setup.
Overview
The AI Employee builder helps you:
- Select the right agent type for your use case
- Choose communication channels (LinkedIn, Email, WhatsApp, Instagram)
- Pick from a gallery of pre-built templates
- Configure the agent's profile and personality
- Build a visual workflow with triggers, conditions, and actions
- Deploy a ready-to-use automated sales agent
Builder Wizard
Navigate to AI Employees and click Create AI Employee.
Step 1: Agent Type
Choose the type of agent you want to create:

| Connect & Thank | Sends invite → thank you message → adds to CRM → transfers to human |
| Connect & Qualify | Sends invite → thank you → adds to CRM → qualifies via AI → transfers or closes |
Step 2: Channel Selection
Select which channels the agent will use:

Step 3: Template Gallery
Browse pre-built templates organized by use case. Templates include pre-configured messages, workflow patterns, and best practices for common scenarios.
Step 4: AI Builder
The AI-powered builder generates agent configuration based on:
- Your company information (from onboarding)
- Selected template and channel
- Target audience preferences
You can review and edit all generated content before proceeding.
Step 5: Agent Profile
Configure the agent's identity and behavior:

Step 6: Workflow Builder
Build a visual workflow using drag-and-drop nodes:
| Node Type | Description |
|---|---|
| Trigger | What starts the workflow (new connection, tag added, etc.) |
| Conversation | AI conversation with the lead |
| Condition | Branch based on lead behavior or data |
| Action | Perform an action (add tag, move stage, send email, enroll in flow) |
| Pause | Wait for a specified time before continuing |
The workflow builder uses pre-defined archetypes to ensure valid node/edge configurations.
Step 7: Review & Deploy
Review all settings and deploy the agent. The Materializer creates:
- An
ai_agentsrecord with your configuration - Associated workflow nodes and edges
- Linked account IDs (users, pipelines, tags)

Two main workflow patterns are available:
Connect & Thank
Invite → Wait → Thank You Message → Add to CRM → Transfer to HumanConnect & Qualify

AI Employees can trigger:
- Email Flow Enrollment - Automatically enroll leads in email marketing flows
- Marketing Email Sends - Send one-off marketing emails
- Tag Management - Add/remove tags based on conversation outcomes
