Importing Contacts
Import contacts from CSV files into GetRaze with automatic column mapping and duplicate detection.
CSV Import Wizard
Navigate to Contacts > Import to start the import wizard.
Step 1: Upload File
Upload a CSV file containing your contacts. Supported formats:
.csv(comma-separated).xlsx(Excel)- UTF-8 encoding recommended
Step 2: Column Mapping
Map your CSV columns to GetRaze fields:

Unmapped columns are stored as custom fields.
Step 3: Review
Before importing:
- Preview the first rows of mapped data
- Check for validation errors
- Review duplicate detection settings
Step 4: Import
Click Import to begin:
- Contacts are created in the database
- Duplicates are handled based on your settings
- Progress bar shows completion
- Summary shows imported/skipped/error counts
Duplicate Detection
GetRaze detects duplicates by matching:
- Email address (primary)
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Name + Company combination
Duplicate Handling
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Skip | Don't import duplicates |
| Update | Merge new data into existing contacts |
| Create | Import as new contacts regardless |
Large Imports
For large files (10,000+ contacts):
- Import runs in the background
- You'll receive a notification when complete
- Progress is tracked on the import page
Export
Export your contacts to CSV:
- Go to Contacts
- Apply any desired filters
- Click Export
- Download the CSV file
