Importing Contacts

Import contacts from CSV files into GetRaze with automatic column mapping and duplicate detection.

CSV Import Wizard

Navigate to Contacts > Import to start the import wizard.

Step 1: Upload File

Upload a CSV file containing your contacts. Supported formats:

  • .csv (comma-separated)
  • .xlsx (Excel)
  • UTF-8 encoding recommended

Step 2: Column Mapping

Map your CSV columns to GetRaze fields:

Unmapped columns are stored as custom fields.

Step 3: Review

Before importing:

  • Preview the first rows of mapped data
  • Check for validation errors
  • Review duplicate detection settings

Step 4: Import

Click Import to begin:

  • Contacts are created in the database
  • Duplicates are handled based on your settings
  • Progress bar shows completion
  • Summary shows imported/skipped/error counts

Duplicate Detection

GetRaze detects duplicates by matching:

  • Email address (primary)
  • LinkedIn profile URL
  • Name + Company combination

Large Imports

For large files (10,000+ contacts):

  • Import runs in the background
  • You'll receive a notification when complete
  • Progress is tracked on the import page

Export

Export your contacts to CSV:

  1. Go to Contacts
  2. Apply any desired filters
  3. Click Export
  4. Download the CSV file
